The Success Highway

by Andrew Cooper

As John C Maxwell said, "success is a journey, not a destination". It is a process of continual learning and personal development.

Are you currently on the success highway or are you on a rutted dirt road somewhere, trying to find the highway? If you're on the rutted road, here are a few directions to get you back on track...

Set goals - How do you know where to go if you do not know where you are headed? Sit down and work out where it is that you want to go, then set goals to help you get there. Remember, they must be specific and measurable.

Prioritise - You come to a fork in the road, which one do you take? If you have prioritised your goals, this decision will be obvious.

Attitude - If you're upbeat and positive, you will find that you will enjoy your journey a whole lot more!
Affirm & Visualise - Your vehicle needs fuel to get it where it has to go. By visualising your goal and using affirmations to build belief in yourself, you will fill up your fuel tanks.

Action - Put your vehicle into gear; you get nowhere and waste fuel revving the engine in neutral! Nothing great was ever achieved without action and hard work.
Follow these directions and you will soon find yourself on the success highway ... enjoy the journey!
